Welcome Tyler!

Welcome Tyler!   We would like to officially welcome our newest Team Member, Tyler Friesen, to the Costen & Associates Family.

 

Tyler was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, and grew up on an acreage about 20 minutes south of Swift Current. He has two older sisters, both of which are Registered Nurses and married, with the oldest having a daughter named Adalyn, making him a proud Uncle. Tyler attended Swift Current Comprehensive High School and was quite involved with the sports teams both in and out of the school, participating in volleyball, basketball, wrestling and football. He was also a member of the community’s junior lacrosse team for 8 seasons.

 

In the fall of 2009 Tyler moved to Calgary, Alberta to attend Ambrose University College to take one year of general studies classes. The following year, Tyler attended Capernwray Hall, a Torchbearers International school in northern England. This experience gave Tyler the opportunity to travel to many countries throughout Europe during his school breaks and at the end of this school term.  Most notably, he was able to spend Christmas in Rome and New Years in Paris.  He also visited Germany and Central Italy at the end of his term to visit friends he had made while attending school in England.  Tyler also had the opportunity to travel to Croatia for two weeks with his father.

 

Upon returning to Calgary, Tyler re-enrolled in Ambrose University College for the fall term in 2011, at which point he decided to transfer his classes and focus on a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is now in his third year of studies at Ambrose and plans to graduate with his BBA in the spring of 2014.

 

Tyler is a hard-working and dedicated individual and is looking forward to applying his business knowledge to the world of Insurance.  Over the next several months, Tyler will be training in the areas of Automobile, Property, Motorcycle and Travel insurance, and he looks forward to getting to know you, our clients.
