The DASdrive policy covers all necessary legal costs associated with the following:

• Total loss valuation disputes;
• Obtaining Statutory Accident Benefits from your automobile insurer;
• Legal defence (against breach of highway traffic law or regulations);
• Driver’s Licence protection;
• Auto contract disputes; and,
• Issues arising from driving vehicles owned by a third party.

DASliving


This policy is designed to provide legal advice, assistance and cost coverage for individuals and families with respect to many of society’s legal issues.


Whether you were discriminated against in the workplace, or you and your neighbour cannot agree on your property lines, the DASliving policy can help.  It provides you with unlimited access to their Legal Advice Helpline to discuss any personal legal matter (including tax advice).  They are open 7 days/week from 8:00AM – 12:00AM and also provide 24 hour access for emergencies.


The DASliving  policy covers all necessary legal costs associated with the following:

• Employment disputes;
• Contract disputes;
• Property protection;
• Bodily injury;
• Tax protection;
• Employee legal defence; and,
• Court attendance expenses.

DASlive&drive


This policy is a combination of the DASdrive & DASliving products designed to offer policyholders full coverage for both automobile-related and personal legal matters.


As with the DASdrive and DASliving policies, you have As part of your policy, it provides you with unlimited access to their Legal Advice Helpline to discuss any personal or automobile-related legal matters.  They are open 7 days/week from 8:00AM – 12:00AM and also provide 24 hour access for emergencies.


DASbusiness


This policy is designed to protect businesses against the cost of potential business legal disputes;


Canadian businesses are often faced with legislation changes, disputes with employees, tax investigations, health and safety concerns, and more.  The time and cost of dealing with such legal issues can be extensive.


The DASbusiness policy provides business owners access to legal guidance, representation and cost coverage. As with the other DAS policies, it provides you with acces to their Legal Advice Helpline.   They are open 7 days/week from 8:00AM – 12:00AM and also provide 24 hour access for emergencies.


The DASbusiness policy covers all necessary legal costs associated with the following:

• Employment disputes;
• Legal defence;
• Statutory license protection;
• Property protection;
• Bodily injury; and,
• Tax protection;
• Court attendance expenses; and,
• Telephone legal advice.
• You can also add contract disputes and debt recovery coverage.

DASgroup


This policy provides coverage that meets the needs and demands of any group, association, club or employer wishing to provide their members and employees with the benefits of Legal Expense Insurance.


These policies can be customized to fit the needs of a particular group, and the coverage is similar to that of the DASlive&drive policies.  As with the other DAS policies, it provides unlimited access their Legal Advice Helpline to discuss any personal legal or tax problem.   They are open 7 days/week from 8:00AM – 12:00AM and also provide 24 hour access for emergencies.


DAStransport


This policy provides coverage for reasonable costs incurred in pursuing or defending disputes involving the use or operation of a commercial motor vehicle.


Whether one of your drivers receives a speeding ticket, or you discover one of your vehicles was involved in an accident and the dealer did not tell you about it, DAStransport will provide coverage for costs such as lawyers’ fees, disbursements, expert reports, and adverse costs in the event a judge finds in the other party’s favour.


As with the other DAS policies, it provides unlimited access their Legal Advice Helpline to discuss any personal legal or tax problem.   They are open 7 days/week from 8:00AM – 12:00AM and also provide 24 hour access for emergencies.


The DAStransport  policy covers all necessary legal costs associated with the following:

• Traffic tickets;
• Driver’s license suspension notices;
• Vehicle related contract disputes;
• Commercial safety rating issues.
