Happy 6th Anniversary, Andrew Shareski!

Costen & Associates would like to wish our Office Manager, Andrew Shareski, a Happy 6th Anniversary! It doesn’t feel like all that long ago when young, fresh-faced Andrew stopped by the Office to drop off his resume. Recently graduating from college, he was looking to start a career in business. Andrew applied for several different positions in different industries, and later admitted that he really hoped he would get the job with Costen & Associates because he would only have to walk a couple blocks to work!

With the assistance of our business coach, Trae Ashlie-Garen, it was the first time we had interviewed in a group format. With a large group of approximately 8 other people, Andrew stood out from the start. Compared to some of the other candidates, Andrew was starting “green” with no experience in the industry, but he came across as very confident and professional. As the interview processed wrapped up and we thanked everyone for coming, the majority of the candidates left the room. Andrew came over and looked me in the eye, thanked me for the opportunity and shook my hand. He really stood out as someone with a great personality and potential, and this is why we hired Andrew over the other more experienced candidates.

Our decision paid off, as over the years Andrew has proven himself to be a dedicated and hard working individual. As mentioned, he started in the industry with no knowledge of Insurance, and a little over two years later, he was promoted to Office Manager. Andrew has also completed his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation and taken many other seminars and courses to enhance his knowledge of the industry.


Today, Andrew is still working hard and is now leading our Team of employees and Producers. If you ask any of our Team or the clients Andrew has worked with, they will tell you how efficient, hard working and caring he is.
