We have been in business for many years (celebrating 35 years in 2022!) and many of our clients have been with us since the start (Thank You!). We also have a lot of new and wonderful clients who may not be as familiar with who we are and what we do!

Over the years, Costen Insurance has grown along side this great City of ours, and we have made many changes and improvements to our Brokerage. We wanted to share with you a few things about the Costen Insurance Team and Brokerage!

 

Did You Know…

  • Our Brokerage was founded in 1987 by CEO/Founder Larry Costen.
  • Costen Insurance is a family-run Brokerage. Larry’s daughter Crista Costen, the current President, joined the Brokerage in 1998 and Andrew Shareski (not actually related, but he might as well be!), who is the current Operations Manager, joined the Brokerage in 2007.
  • We are a full-service Brokerage, meaning if there is something that needs to be insured, we can assist you!
  • As a Broker, we are partnered with several different Insurance Companies in order to offer you the right policy, coverage and price to suit your needs.
  • We offer complementary insurance quotes, including automobile, property, commercial, travel, and recreational quotes.
  • We have a Mobile App and desktop portal, #myCosten, that allows you to access your policy documents, print pink cards, review upcoming payments, submit requests, and more!
  • Through our “Customer Referral Program”, we raise money for our charity partner, Helping Families Handle Cancer, and support other local and grassroots charities each year.
  • We send out a monthly e-newsletter providing information on changes to insurance products, highlighting our weekly blog, notifying of upcoming events and contests, and more.
  • We have a Live Chat feature on our website so you can instant message with our Team for any inquiries that you may have.
  • We are in the process of redeveloping our website to make it more user and mobile friendly.
  • We are now licenced in beautiful British Columbia and can provide insurance for your BC property, commercial and business operations, and travel insurance.
