Larry Costen – Owner / President

Larry began his career in the financial services sector in 1981 and after achieving a Business Diploma at SAIT, he established Costen & Associates in 1987 to provide full service products to his clients. Larry spends the majority of his time networking and building the business, and his spare time is spent riding his motorcycle to anywhere and everywhere!

Crista Costen – Vice President

Crista has been with Costen & Associates since July 1998 and completed a Finance Degree at Mount Royal College in 2006. As a new mom of twin boys, Crista balances her busy schedule between her family and focusing on marketing, customer- orientated programs, and growing and developing the business!

Rhonda Calon – Administration

Rhonda has been a part-time employee with Costen & Associates since July 2003. She handles the administrative and clerical duties in the office and without her, the company would be lost in a sea of files, mail outs, and paperwork! When she is not working, Rhonda spends time with her family and is heavily involved as a volunteer for numerous charities and events.

Andrew Shareski – Office Manager

Andrew has worked with Costen & Associates since June of 2007 and focuses on auto, property, recreational, and travel insurance. In the Fall of 2009 he accepted the position of Office Manager for Costen & Associates and has been enjoying the new challenges it brings! In his spare time Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing music, and cheering for the Vancouver Canucks (sorry Flames fans).

Kristel Wilson – Insurance Broker

Kristel joined the Costen and Associates team May 2010. She completed her Chartered Insurance Professional designation in 2008 and has 5 years experience in the industry. Currently she focuses on Auto, Home, and Motorcycle insurance, with some Health and Accident insurance. In her spare time, she enjoys books, movies, and . She is also a registered “Supernatural” fanatic.

Matt Hobbs – Insurance Broker

Matt began his career in the life insurance industry in 2010 and has decided to focus on general insurance. He is currently studying for his licence and is beginning his career with us. Matt enjoys attending leadership seminars, networking and is truly eager to pursue his professional development. We are inspired by Matt’s interest in public speaking and his dream to inspire audiences around the world. As such a natural people-person, he is a fantastic addition to the Costen team. We know our clients and staff will benefit from his infectious positivity.

Karen Sandeman- Insurance Broker/Accounting

Karen has been in the insurance industry since 1977 and an owner/manager of Glenmore Insurance Brokers Ltd for 21 years. In her spare time she is a board member and volunteers for CWRS, rescuing and releasing urban wildlife. She has also volunteered at Heritage Park for over 20 years. In her spare time, Karen loves to cook and bake, travel, play bridge, and golf.

Shauna Banner – Insurance Broker

Shauna has worked in the insurance industry since 2003, originally as a receptionist and then quickly moving into personal lines customer service. For the past three years, Shauna has specialized in commercial lines and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Brokerage. In her spare time, Shauna enjoys walking and playing with her two dogs. She also has a love for travel and she plays golf in the summer and curls in the winter.

Rosie Calon – Producer

Rosie started with Costen & Associates in August 2009 and worked her way from Administrative Assistant to Level 1 Broker. Rosie is a graduate of the Pastry Arts Program at SAIT and as of October 2011 has pursued her arts full time. Rosie is currently working as a part-time Producer with Costen & Associates.

Nirmal Lombsar – Producer

Nirmal joined the Costen & Associates team as a producer in July 2007, focusing mainly on auto, and property insurance. She enjoys her time with her new family and building her business and developing relationships with her clients.

Tehmina (Tamy) Amjad – Producer

Tamy is a General Insurance Broker and has recently started working as a Producer for Costen and Associates, along with her husband Amjad. She has a Masters Degree in English Literature and previously worked as a school teacher. She is also a certified tennis instructor and enjoys teaching the game to others and her two boys.

Paramjit (Pammi) Sandhu – Producer

With a background in teaching, journalism and IT, Pammi is a new addition to our team. She is focusing on building her business with trust and service. She is also interested in media and hosts an evening radio show in her spare time. Pammi also enjoys yoga, music and reading and most importantly having quality time with her son, family and friends.

Lloyd Keating – Financial Advisor

Lloyd joined Costen & Associates in January 2010 as a Financial Advisor and brings over 25 years of experience to the team. He focuses on Life, Disability, Critical Illness, and Long Term Care Insurance, as well as Investments. In his spare time, Lloyd enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing and golfing.
